Hi! I am a software engineer who enjoys tinkering with tech at home too. This post is the first of hopefully more to come. My intentions are to informally write about things I find interesting, partly so others can learn and partly for my benefit as no doubt writing about topics will highlight to me my own knowledge gaps.

How did I set this blog up?

Hugo to generate static assets from markdown. It seems very simple, allowing the majority time focused on writing content rather than with any technical considerations.

I have used Cloudfare Pages for hosting the static assets.
